Gynaecologist
Dr Kathryn Green is a Brisbane-based Specialist Gynaecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each woman's individual needs. She is passionate about creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make informed decisions about their health.
Dr Green completed a Bachelor of Science in 2003 before graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2008. She undertook specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Queensland and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2020.
Throughout her training and specialist career, Dr Green has worked across public hospitals in North Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Her clinical focus has increasingly centred on gynaecology and supporting women with their reproductive, hormonal, and pelvic health.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Green is committed to education and mentoring. She is a Training Supervisor and examiner for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and has supervised and mentored doctors on the specialist training program at Redcliffe Hospital for more than five years.
Dr Green completed additional training in minimally invasive surgery during her fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. She offers both hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures and is committed to providing contemporary surgical care that aims to optimise recovery and outcomes for her patients.
She is an active member of the Pelvic Pain Foundation of Australia, the Australasian Menopause Society, the Australian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP), and the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society (AGES), reflecting her commitment to ongoing dedication to professional development and advocacy for women's health.
Dr Green is excited to be establishing her private gynaecology practice, where she can devote more time to delivering personalised, high-quality care. She values building long-term relationships with her patients and understands that seeking gynaecological care can sometimes feel daunting. Her goal is to ensure every woman feels listened to, supported, and confident in their healthcare journey.
Dr Green operates at Peninsula Private Hospital and Caboolture Private Hospital.
