Specialist Fertility & IVF Services in North Lakes

In partnership with Life Fertility Clinic, Sage Gynaecology provides compassionate, personalised fertility care that combines advanced reproductive medicine with a holistic approach to wellbeing. Our dedicated team supports patients through every stage of their fertility journey, offering expert guidance and care in a warm and nurturing environment.

As a fertility specialist, Dr Matt provides comprehensive care across all aspects of fertility treatment — from preconception counselling, lifestyle optimisation, and initial investigations through to advanced assisted reproductive treatments, including IVF and ICSI. He works closely with individuals and couples to develop personalised treatment plans, recognising that every fertility journey is unique and deserves an individualised approach. We warmly support LGBQTI+ individuals & couples, and people pursuing solo parenting, providing inclusive, personalised fertility care tailored to each person’s goals and pathway to building a family. From initial planning through to advanced treatments such as donor conception and IVF, we offer compassionate guidance and evidence-based care every step of the way.

Dr Matt takes the time to understand each patient’s circumstances, goals, and concerns, carefully discussing available options and recommending the most appropriate treatment pathway for each situation. His focus is on providing consistent support, clear communication, and evidence-based care to help patients feel informed and confident throughout their journey toward building a family.

Patients generally consult with Dr Matt at the North Lakes location, while procedures and advanced fertility treatments are performed through Life Fertility Clinic at Bowen Hills or at Herston Private Hospital.

Pre-conception counselling

We offer personalised pre-conception counselling to review you (and your partners) health, medications and lifestyle, discuss any risks, and help you optimise your health for pregnancy.

Natural conception

Natural conception focuses on understanding your cycle, timing intercourse around ovulation, and making lifestyle changes that can improve your chances of conceiving without medical procedures.

Ovulation induction

For women with irregular or absent ovulation, medications may be used to encourage regular egg release and improve the chance of pregnancy. This may be used with or without IVF, and is often a great first step for people struggling to conceive.

Intrauterine insemination (IUI)

IUI is a simple fertility treatment that involves placing prepared sperm directly into the uterus at the most fertile time of the cycle to assist conception.

In vitro fertilisation (IVF)

IVF is a fertility treatment where eggs are fertilised outside the body before an embryo is transferred into the uterus. In many cases, less invasive options may be explored before IVF is recommended. We offer guidance around egg and embryo freezing, pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT), donor treatment, and surrogacy to help support future family-building options.
